COMPLETED PROJECTS:

1. Ex-situ conservation of RET species (Bamboos, Palms, Zingibers, endemic tree species) of Andaman & Nicobar Islands: The effect of habitat on seed germination and seedling survival of 40 tree species have been study for the first time. Several novelties have been discovered during exploration: 08 species as new to science, various new generic records for India, various records for India as well as state flora, 01 rediscovery after more than 130 years
2. Phenological Survey of Tree Species of Dhanikhari Experimental Garden-cum-Arboretum (DEGCA), (Phenology of 73 tree species of Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been surveyed and documented for the first time.
