Status of Survey

Since its inception, Researchers of APRC, Botanical Survey of India has undertaken more than 215 field tours and explored different parts of Arunachal Pradesh for Floristic Survey. Till now Orchids of Arunachal Pradesh, Flora of Namdapha Biosphere Reserve, Flora of Lower Subansiri district, Flora of Upper Subansiri district, Flora of Kurung Kumey district and Materials for flora Arunachal Pradesh (in 3 volumes) are published. The Floristic work like Eriaceae of Arunachal Pradesh, Legumes of Arunachal Pradesh, Flora of Anjaw district, Flora of West Siang district, Flora of Lohit district, Flora of East Kameng district, Flora of Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary and Flora of Dihang-Dibang Biosphere Reserves etc. have been completed and are under publication. The centre is presently engaged in the floristic/taxonomic works under following action plan project.
